1st day - Florence

Arrival. Assistance and transfer from airport or railway station to the hotel. Accommodation. Morning free for shopping and personal activities or for a short trip to Fiesole, overlooking Florence. In the afternoon enjoy city tour of Florence. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

2nd day- Florence

Continue city sightseeing visiting the Pitti Palace and Pitti Gallery containing collections of fine tapestries and many masterpieces by Titian, Rubens, Murillo, Raphael. The Cathedral, Giotto's Tower, the Academy of Fine Arts with Michelangelo's original David. Followed by short stop at San Miniato al Monte before returning to the city, via Piazzale Michelangelo. Afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

3rd day - Florence - Siena

Depart from Florence after breakfast via the panoramic route, passing through woods and gentle slopes. We then come to the world famous Chianti region. Stop in Greve to visit one of its wine cellars Continue on to San Gimignano just before rejoining the coach for our final drive of the day to Siena, dinner and overnight at the hotel.

4th day - Siena and Arezzo

After breakfast, sightseeing tour of Siena (mostly on foot). This old medieval town has many points of interest and is considered unique for retaining its medieval appearance with its narrow, and cobblestone streets. In the afternoon drive to Monteriggioni. Visit the castle

and also admire the ancient walls that still encircle the town.

Then proceed to Arezzo. Upon arrival in the capital of gold start sightseeing of this charming Etruscan town by visiting the Church of St. Francis, the Palace of the Lay Fraternity and the Grand Piazza.

Leave Arezzo in late afternoon and arrive in Montecatini for dinner, overnight stay at the hotel.

5th day - Montecatini - Lucca - Pisa - Montecatini

After breakfast, full day excursion to Lucca and Pisa. In Lucca stop to visit the ancient ruins, the Cathedral (built in honour of Saint Martin) and the tomb of Ilaria del Carretto, a fine work of art by Jacopo della Quercia. Early afternoon departure to Pisa to visit the Leaning Tower, the Cathedral, the Baptistery and other landmarks .

Time for quick shopping before boarding coach for return to our hotel in Montecatini. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

6th day - Montecatini - Pistoia - Vinci - Florence

Leave Montecatini for Pistoia, meet the local guide in Piazza Duomo for morning city tour. In the early afternoon drive through the beautiful Tuscan hills, full of rich, green vineyards and olive trees before arriving in Vinci, birthplace of Leonardo, and a chance to visit this small town and the local museum, if desired.

Continue to Florence for dinner and overnight at the hotel.

7th day - Florence

Breakfast at the hotel. Our services end after the transfer to Pisa or Florence airports or to one of the two Florentine railway stations.
